The laboratory
Built around the microscope, not the waiting-room guess
LifeQuest started as a reporting bench. Consultant OPD was added so patients and referring doctors could sit with a specialist on a known clock, then walk the sample next door.
Published OPD hours
Visiting consultants do not “usually come after five.” Their days and times are on this website. If a session is cancelled, reception updates the roster before clinic opens.
One trip when we can
Fasting labs in the morning, physician OPD in the evening, Saturday paediatrics — the timetable is designed so families are not asked to return without a reason.
Quality
What we will and will not promise
- Same-day turnaround applies to routine hematology and chemistry received before the afternoon cutoff.
- Histopathology and cultures follow biology, not marketing. We publish ranges, not miracles.
- Reactive viral markers and unexpected malignancies are telephoned to the referring clinician before the printed report leaves.
- We do not sell packages that hide method or sample type. Ask reception which analyser and kit we are running this month.
